Orchard of Mines

Oh dear.
I don't really like how this turned out, but whatever. I FINISHED IT IT'S OVER AND DONE WITH SOMEDAY I'LL BE GOOD AT LIGHTING AND THEN I WILL BE SATISFIED WITH STUFF. BLUH.

Alfonse Heiderich is more or less my favorite character ever. Even though he's only got about 10 minutes of face time, I wound up falling in love with him and his entirely ironic existence. He's really sort of a tragic, hopeless character who never got a chance shine and never will; I love him for it. He's just a shadow of a character, hardly even a major role in Conquerer of Shamballa, but the simple fact that he's there kinda means something, I think. Like his 10 minutes sort of sum up the bound-to-fail, fruitless-struggle-for-happiness story of the Fullmetal Alchemist.
Honestly, I think it's delicious.
I fucking love symbolism.
